2 Litre LHD Fixed Head Coupe manufactured 15 April 1965.
Jaguar Heritage Certificate All Matching Number(s) certified.
High Compression 7E-XXXX-9 Engine maintains 25-30 lbs Oil Pressure at Idle.
Original Factory Assembler Chalk Body Number 4E-XXXXX notation still on Rear Hatch interior lower panel.
Completing restoration from factory special order Opalescent Gunmetal w/Dark Blue to vintage period correct, new Pale Primrose Yellow paint with Tan Interior.
Interior restoration includes B A S Jaguar Cinnamon Wilton Wool Carpet and matching Headliner, Leather Seats and matching Vinyl Trim and Hardura, with interior trim chrome parts replaced/refinished and are complete.
Extensive mechanical parts replaced/refurbished including new Brake Servo Booster and Master Cylinder with all new brake lines and hoses, rebuilt Lucas Starter, Direct Wired Cooling/Radiator Fan, rebuilt brake cylinders, new clutch slave cylinder-lines and hose, Lucas Sport Coil/Wire, Champion Spark Plugs with new wires, rebuilt S U Tri-Carburetors and new S U Fuel Pump.
Original Exterior chrome bumpers/trim, Amco Bars (re-chromed) and original windscreen, hatch, and side glass.
Body and Glass Seals replaced.
Period correct new twin chrome resonators and mid pipes.
Many of the original parts, particularly chrome exterior, were maintained and refurbished.
