Vehicle Description MGB Mark IV Roadster.
Original car with mechanical upgrades, and original Glacier White factory paint.
Complete service records from original purchase to date, that indicate this is a matching numbers car.
Excellent driver and surprisingly, for a British sport, no fluid leaks.
We are the fourth(2019 purchase) owners from original new dealer purchase.
Although we are not the original owner, car does not indicate, with its excellent condition and our inspection, nor do the records indicate any prior body damage.
The mileage appears to be accurate from our review of the documents/records dates.
Car recently completed State of Texas annual inspection and is registered/licensed for public street driving to September 2023, and we have a clear Texas Blue Title in the sellers name.
Car is insured with Hagerty.
Mechanical/Upgrades 1.
8 L 4 cylinder original Engine with Weber Carb/Intake Manifold conversion w/ pressure regulator and new electric Carter fuel pump.
Stainless Steel High Capacity Radiator with new hoses and belts.
Wire wheels and like new Hankook Performo(4) 175-60-14 tires, original jack with spare wire wheel/tire.
Spin-off Oil Filter conversion.
Recent tune up and service Champion plugs, Points, Condenser, Oil/Filter/Lube/Gearbox service (Castrol Classic 20W50 both engine and gearbox per specs), tire rotation/ dampers check/serviced.
Alternator, Plug Wires and Starter are in new condition.
New Lucas Coil.
One Year Old 12V Battery with original helmet cables and new tie down.
Complete engine rebuild/documented at 70k miles by prior owner.
Body/Undercarriage Body/Paint is in good condition with original Glacier White paint.
Rubber bumpers are in excellent condition.
Glass is original and in good condition.
Body and undercarriage exhibit no rust or rust outs.
All lights and indicators function.
Mufflers and pipes are in excellent condition.
Front and Rear brakes are in good condition/minimal wear to pads/shoes with new hoses.
All rubber portions of fuel line from tank to carb replaced with new in line Mr.
Gasket filter.
Interior Interior is original, with exception of carpet and door panel replacement(moved radio speakers behind seats).
All gauges/indicators/wipers/flashers/blower function with original excellent condition dash and console.
Seats/Headrests are original and in good condition.
Heater works well.
Owner Comments Car could be a daily driver, although we have strictly used it for a weekend fun driver since our purchase in 2019.
Have averaged about 150 miles per year between state inspections.
Engine Oil/Filter, Rear Differential, and Gearbox oil changed annually regardless of mileage.
Owner is a longtime Jaguar and MG enthusiast and owned numerous British cars over the years.
Do not know of any issues regarding the B, and any that have come up since our purchase, which have been few and minormostly Lucas usual electrical, have been repaired.
We are selling the car to allow for the completion of another classic car hobby project and car garage space for possible purchase of another classic.
We are in the Houston, Texas metroplex and would consider sharing any transportation costs.
This car is an excellent, original, running and driving B.
